Research partners

In Bergen I am affiliated with the Precision Oncology Group of Prof Emmet MacCormack, and collaborate on sarcoma studies with him, Nina Jebsen, and Line Bjørge. I also work closely with the group of Per Øystein Lønning on various projects within cancer genomics and personalised cancer treatment, and am a partner in their recently awarded K.G. Jebsen Centre for Genome-based  Cancer Therapy.

I am affiliated with the Competence Centre for Hereditary Cancer at Haukeland University Hospital, where I collaborate with the head, Hildegunn Høberg Vetti.

AS head of the Norwegian Cancer Genomics Consortium I collaborate with cancer scientists across Norway, and through the Norwegian Sarcoma Consortium with all Norwegian sarcoma centres.

Together with the US SARC028 trial group, headed by Dr Hussein Tawbi, now at MD Anderson, we will investigate predictive biomarkers for immune checkpoint therapy in sarcoma together with the Norwegian bioinformatics company OncoImmunity, headed by Richard Stratford. We also have a collaboration identifying immune markers in sarcoma patients.

We collaborate with Prof David Thomas, head of the Kinghorn cancer Centre in Sydney and Dr Andy Wagner at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston on Translational research on liposarcoma, funded by the Liddy Shriver Sarcoma Initiative.
